The mission of 3Strands Global Foundation is to help create a world free from human trafficking. This starts with preventing the crime in the first place. 3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) provides prevention education programs in schools designed to help educators and students identify and prevent instances of human trafficking. 

About the IC Role:

The Implementation Coordinator (IC) for Utah is responsible for assisting the PROTECT Regional Director in the adoption and implementation of the PROTECT Prevention Education Program throughout the state of Utah. This position will be responsible for the management, troubleshooting, and marketing of the PROTECT Online Learning Platform (OLP) and will oversee the customer support to school personnel, educators, government officials, and community organizations as they roll out PROTECT in their school community.

General Responsibilities:

The IC will provide front line customer service to our constituents and will also help administer the online learning platform on which the program is delivered. This is a coordinator/analyst level position that requires a bachelor’s degree and a high degree of comfort with communicating with a wide variety of audiences and working with a diverse set of technology platforms. The successful candidate will exhibit a high degree of service orientation as well as the ability to work independently. They will have 2-4 years of experience in a professional setting, ideally in a nonprofit or service industry.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support Regional Director with the completion of protocols

  • Distribute appropriate marketing materials and information to respond to general PROTECT inquiries

  • Coordinate communication between 3SGF marketing department and the doTERRA marketing department staff

  • Create accounts for new users and follow-up with instructions on how to log into the OLP

  • Solicit for success stories from PROTECT users and share them with the 3SGF marketing department to be used in PROTECT social media

  • Create and add resources to the knowledge library as needed in the OLP both when new content is generated by the PROTECT team and from external research of human trafficking news articles, research studies, and legislative information to include in the knowledge library

  • Participate in both regular check-ins regarding the OLP with the Regional Director and engage in discussions about improvements

  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions of this position are approximately 40% relationship building/maintaining, 40% program drive, and 20% technical support

Required Skills:

  • College degree

  • Strong communication skills and ability to use the phone, email, and video conferencing to communicate with 3SGF team

  • Excellent customer service/human relation skills and exemplary attention to details

  • Strong computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite preferred

Experience:

3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) is a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child exploitation and human trafficking before it begins. In concert with two anti-human trafficking nonprofit partner organizations, Love Never Fails and the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives, 3SGF created a training program called the PROTECT© Prevention Education Program that helps teachers and students understand the crime and develop awareness and behaviors that help them avoid victimization.

3SGF is seeking a Regional Director (RD) to work in San Diego County to continue the work of driving the implementation of this program as a component of the San Diego Trafficking Prevention Collective (SDTPC).

The RD will represent 3SGF in a respectful and appropriate manner while encouraging growth, engaging in timely interactions with county officials, administrators, and teachers, as well as project funders, to ensure that our work in combatting human trafficking moves forward. The RD will work closely with our partners and headquarters to ensure that the PROTECT Prevention Education Program is implemented with fidelity and the budget is well managed and all required records are accurately maintained.  

Critical to the success of this role is experience in the field of K-12 education. The successful candidate will understand how the education system in California works and how to effectively navigate the system to support the SDTPC and ultimately protect students from being trafficked. He or she will also be extremely organized and effective at handling multiple tasks and priorities, relationship oriented, and a power user of standard office technologies.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: REGIONAL DIRECTOR

  • Work collaboratively with all partners that form the San Diego Trafficking Prevention SDTPC

  • Arrange and meet with county/district superintendents of education in person to provide an overview of the PROTECT Prevention Education Program

  • Establish sustainable relationships with the Office of Education, Child Protective Services, Probation, law enforcement, county social services, and other related entities

  • Coordinate and deliver a variety of PROTECT presentations throughout the SDTPC

  • Create county and district protocols in collaboration with key county leaders

  • Develop and manage budgets and expenses within the SDTPC

  • Engage in training for county and school staff as well as external stakeholders and new staff

  • Provide weekly progress reports to 3SGF and the SDTPC

  • Attend weekly virtual meetings with headquarters 

  • Complete other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • 40% intiative and program leadership

  • 20% relationship building and sustaining

  • 10% technical support

  • 30% travel in San Diego and to Headquarters in Sacramento

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
