3Strands Global Foundation (3SGF) moviliza a las comunidades para combatir la trata de personas a travĆ©s de programas de prevenciĆ³n, educaciĆ³n y reintegraciĆ³n. Durante mĆ”s de una dĆ©cada, hemos trabajado en estrecha colaboraciĆ³n con sobrevivientes de la trata de personas, personas que han sufrido traumas y otras comunidades vulnerables. Esto nos ha brindado perspectivas Ćŗnicas e invaluables sobre los impactos del trauma en el lugar de trabajo y la importancia vital de estar informado sobre el trauma.
Desde 2016, 3SGF ha estado trabajando con sobrevivientes y empresas para crear entornos de trabajo sostenibles e informados sobre el trauma. Hemos visto de primera mano cĆ³mo un ambiente de trabajo de apoyo puede fomentar empleados firmes.

While providing a foundational understanding of trauma, this lesson explores what trauma is, its various causes and manifestations, and how it can impact individuals' lives. Participants learn about common reactions to trauma and gain insights into the physiological, psychological, and emotional effects trauma can have on individuals.

They explore the importance of empathy, active listening, and validation in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. The lesson may cover techniques for creating a safe and supportive environment and offering appropriate resources and referrals to those in need.
