Trevor* is 1 of 445. Trevor applied to 40 jobs without any success. Because of his past, Trevor felt like he had no future. Today, he is working at the Golden 1 Center and is now building a new life for himself.
Often times, at-risk youth are unable to escape the environment they are born into. We can break this systemic cycle of generational inequality and poverty. Employment creates opportunities for empowerment.
Marissa
Marissa* is one of the 715,000 students educated this year on human trafficking prevention. She is a straight A student and aspires to be an engineer one day.
Leena
Leena* is 1 of 445. Leena is a 20-year-old survivor; she had no job or work experience and struggled to provide for her son. She is now finishing her high school diploma and able to give her son a better future.
